YEREVAN, ARMENIA — On November 14, 2017, Optym welcomed Karen Karapetyan, Prime Minister of Armenia, to explore partnership opportunities with Optym to improve the transportation within the Armenian region. Joining the Prime Minister was Vahan Martirosyan, Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies and Armen Baldryan, President of the Union of Employers of Information and Communication Technologies.
The visit was very fruitful as the dignitaries became more familiar with Optym’s capabilities and what they had to offer. They toured the state of the art facility in the heart of Yerevan, learned more about Optym’s vision and met the talented team, including Ravi Ahuja, President & CEO of Optym.
Afterwards, the Prime Minister expressed the government’s readiness for a cooperation between Armenia and Optym. He suggested both parties work together to develop an, “Effective logistic scheme and a decision-making system for the transport network across the whole territory of Armenia.”
Armenia has been invaluable to Optym’s growth over the past few years and to reciprocate, Optym is fully committed to growing its operations in Armenia. Including investing in an additional $1,000,000 USD to expand their current office to increase the capacity for a larger team as future projects come to light. The new space has the capacity to expand the current workforce from 80 to 140 team members. Optym is looking forward to the future partnership and providing even more economic opportunities for Armenia and all of Eurasia.
