Gainesville, FL – Optym President and CEO Dr. Ravindra K. Ahuja received the Business Ambassador’s Award from Florida Governor Rick Scott at the grand opening of the company’s new corporate headquarters on Feb. 19. The award recognizes company leaders who create jobs and opportunities for Florida families.
“Receiving the Business Ambassador’s Award from Governor Scott during our building’s grand opening demonstrates the state’s commitment to our company,” said Ahuja. “As we grow and prosper in the years to come, we will continue to give back to the state that has been supporting us and continue to make it proud.”
Governor Scott presented Ahuja the award at a press conference preceding the ribbon-cutting ceremony. At the conference, Scott also recognized Mohammad Khalil, an Optym employee since 2012 who exemplifies the opportunity for success that the company offers its team members.
After the conference, Governor Scott toured the new facility and met more members of the Optym team. It was a highlight of a celebration that also included a series of client seminars and panel discussions, entertainment and a dinner that lasted into the evening.
