Gainesville, Fla. — Optym, formerly known as Innovative Scheduling, has changed its name effective March 31 as part of a comprehensive rebranding and the creation of a new corporate identity. Optym is a top provider of planning, scheduling and optimization software to Fortune 500 companies including railroads, airlines, mining companies, retail companies and more. The launch of the new Optym name, which is effective immediately, includes a new logo, tagline, website and corporate identity. The company’s founders believe this new brand better reflects the expanding and dynamic scope of the company’s work.
