Dallas, TX, July 27, 2022 – Optym, the leader in transportation optimization, today announced that Lance Healy, VP of LTL Innovations, will speak at the JOC Inland Distribution Conference in Chicago on September 26-28, 2022.
Healy will be included in Tech II: LTL Tech’s Coming of Age, a panel which will discuss to what extent technology is helping the market cope with demand and complexity, including empowering LTL carriers to improve their interfaces with shippers and brokers, and new models that bridge the gap between modes.
Healy spent 25 years in the LTL industry as a serial entrepreneur and technology innovator. He pioneered LTL carrier connectivity through APIs in 2001 and led Banyan Technology as its co-founder and chief innovation officer. He recently joined Optym’s HaulSuite team to lead the Freight IQ initiative. In this role, Lance works closely with LTL carriers to drive new efficiency through operationally driven dynamic pricing solutions, which proactively influences what freight enters their networks and from whom.
The JOC Inland Distribution Conference serves shippers and transportation and logistics providers moving goods from ports to inland destinations and throughout North America. The conference bridges the gaps between the international supply chain and the North American transportation network, bringing shippers and transportation and logistics providers together to better understand challenges and share solutions.
